The Northern Border Air Wing, a division of the Department of Homeland Security, is setting up a new base in Montana, near the US/Canadian border.
A number of planes and two Black Hawk helicopters will be deployed there for border patrols. 730 kilometers will be patrolled for drug smugglers, illegal aliens, and terrorists. According to US Customs and Border Protection spokesman Mike Milne, "they will fly missions along the border, to prevent terrorist and terror weapons from coming into the U.S."
