Jack Abramoff, because of his "religious dedication", received the minimum possible sentence for the charges against him. Abramoff received a 5 years, 10 months, sentence for committing fraud in the purchase of a fleet of gambling boats.

Abramoff has yet to be charged for bribing congressmen and defrauding his clients. He won't be incarcerated for his current charges for a few months as his testimony is needed in these other investigations.
