Andrew "Andy" Card, Bush Administration Chief of Staff, announced his resignation last Tuesday, most likely because of Bush's current low approval ratings. Card will be succeeded by Joshua Bolten, son of a CIA employee and current head of the Office of Management and Budget.

Card, a core whitehouse staff member and former CEO of American Automobile Manufacturers Association, is best known at the guy who whispered in Bush's ear on September 11, 2001.
