Currently I am working a graveyard shift and feeling a little helpless, I have friends in Gulfport Mis. Who can not be reached due to the catastrophy in the area.

As I sat reading about the utter devastation in the area and worrying, it struck me that we can make a difference. We are all busy
individuals indeed, but I think we can possible make some small difference.

What I am proposing is Hands Across North America. When I get off today a 07:00 I am going to begin making phone calls, I plan to solicit various truck and moving companies, to get get a vehicle for a clothing and food drive, I also plan to contact a charitible organization to try and form a afiliation for tax reciepts in order to gather corporate donations. Ideally we can collect enough stuff to load up a C-130 hercules and send it down.
